Bathroom flooring?
I want to do flooring for bathroom ,I am looking for some idea for remodeling .I im looking for web sight that is give me some idea.
I agree with the previous comment. Decide on what style you are interested in. First keep in mind that a bath is WET so what ever you select be sure you select it appropriately. Try tear out sheets. Purchase several decorating mags. page through and pick out things that catch your eye. pull them out and spread them out on a table. is there any specific type of flooring you are drawn too? did you select similar if not the same? Think about color and evaluate that when you are looking at the pics. If you get a good size collections take your 3 favorite pics with you to select the flooring. Have fun. Bathrooms are great. One other thing, tile is an obvious material, but I do not recommend a real smooth tile it can be very slippery when wet. Tiles that have raised textures work great.Good luck.
Green Onyx 1x1 Polished Mosaics Meshed on 12" X 12" Tiles for Bathroom Flooring, Kitchen Backsplash, Shower Walls
Gorgeous 1x1 Green onyx polished mosaics meshed on a 12" x 12" tile. Each tile is one square foot. We also carry onyx mosaics in White, Gold and Green Onyx in color. Purchase directly from the manufacturer and save. Give us a call and talk to our designers about your project. We offer discounts to Designers, Builder, Contractors and Architects. A regular maintenance regimen will help keep your natural stone looking its best. It is recommended to sweep, dust mop, or vacuum prior to wet mopping with a pH-balanced neutral cleaner and warm water. Natural stones are sensitive to harsh chemicals. Using a product like vinegar, or anything with acidic properties or strong alkaline agents, is not recommended. These solvents can etch natural stones, especially polished stones like marble and onyx, which are by nature more delicate. It is also recommended to periodically seal all stone, particularly when installed in wet areas.

How much does it cost to have the bathroom flooring replaced?
Our bath tub is sinking into the bottom of the house/ on the pipes, so we need to replace the bathroom flooring with a new floor. How much would this cost? And is it possible for a low income family to get financial aid in this much needed house repair?
It depends on the cost of flooring in your area and what type of floor you want. You can pull up the old flooring and lay down the new on your own, which will save a ton of money. If you're not sure what to do, Lowes generally has Saturday classes on home repair or you can check out a book at the library. Visit Menards, Home Depot, or Lowes online to see the cost of the flooring. You can get vinyl tiles for as little as $0.79/tile and cheaper if you wait for sales. Good luck to you.
What is the best type of flooring for a bathroom?
I need to redo my bathroom floor but cannot decide what is the best type of flooring.
I have had carpeting, but it was a mess.
Any ideas?
i would go with tile, it won't soak up water and get moldy like carpet and it wont get water damaged like wood. it does get slippery though, so i would put a bathmat in front of your tub so you don't fall. hope it helps :-)
Can I use a high quality artificial turf (indoor/outdoor carpet) as a bathroom flooring?
In my mind, it would look really great. New synthetic grass / artificial turfs are MUCH better looking than they used to be and some even feel really great on your bare feet. Would they work well for a bathroom flooring? How are they installed.....and how are they maintained. Can you mop them? And am I crazy as my wife implies? And how do I get her to go for it? Thanks in advance for your answers.
I think water would tend to get trapped in the turf with out being easy to drain or clean. This would lead to bacteria build up and health problems. Stick to tile. There are non slip types available if you need it.
